Sisterhood

Being in a sorority goes far beyond gaining 150 new friends. Going Panhellenic and joining Phi Mu means having 150 women who will continually support and encourage one another. Whether it's helping sisters study for an exam, driving a sister to class when they woke up late, or just needing someone to watch a movie with on a Saturday night, your sisters always have your back. Phi Mu has helped us to find our soul mates, our future bridesmaids, and the people who understand us better than we understand ourselves.

Phi Mu has given us the lifelong type of friendships that will continue to impact our lives long after college. We serve as mentors and role models for our sisters, creating a strong bond that we hold dearly to our hearts. We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful women surrounding us continually pushing us to succeed. We find comfort in knowing that there are always a handful of sisters willing to pull an all-nighter at the library with you to help you study for that big exam.

Sisterhood Events

We often have sisterhood events and retreats to strengthen and enhance our relationships. A favorite weekend event that our sisters love is exploring the Bloomington Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and visiting Griffy Lake to go kayaking and hiking. Over summer break, we get anxious to see each other again, so we often reunite for music festivals, weekends at the lake, pool days, day trips to New York City or Chicago, or visiting the State Fair!
